Instructions to Add Music to an Apple iPod

Apple calls incorporating music to your ipod "syncing." You sync your ipod to iTunes, the Apple music supervisor and player, and the ipod immediately adds the audio in your iTunes library. When you sync, you can select to add all of your music, or pick particular playlists. Apple iTunes is integrated as part of the Mac OS X running program and it is accessible as a free download for Windows customers.

Apply the USB cable that arrived with your ipod to link it to your computer's USB port.

Open iTunes. Click on on the "ipod" icon beneath the "Gadgets" on the left aspect of the window.

Click on on the "Music" tab in the leading of the primary window. Examine the choice to "Sync Music."

Pick to sync your "Whole music library" or "Chosen playlists, artists, and genres." Press the "Use" button to add the music to your ipod.

Click on on the "ipod" icon below "Units" to pick it and press the "Eject" button prior to you disconnect the USB cable.
